A fast growing, fast paced career field offering students the opportunity for creative development and skills enhancement. The industry offers students exciting positions in graphic design, print production, publishing's, and photography. Students develop skills in photo offset, screen printing, desktop publishing, and the photographic conversion of digital, line, and halftone photography. With their classroom experience, students will be eligible for the full range pf career opportunities available in what has become a very technology oriented field. The Graphics program is certificated by PrintED, which is the education arm of the national print industry. Students will receive certificates validating their achievement of graphic standards. Aside from introducing students to potential employers, the certificates will also qualify graduates for advanced standing in college level graphics programs.
