

The Business Management & Technology program offers a three-year program to prepare graduates for entry into the growing fields of accounting, administrative support services, business management, financial support services, and medical or legal office support. Students study in depth the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint along with Internet research. Web page creation, desktop publishing, and electronic accounting using QuickBooks are also covered in the course. During the second year of the program, students have the opportunity to achieve certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) by taking the exam at our test center. This is a national certification developed by Microsoft that documents proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. During the senior year, students are given the option to focus in a specialized area such as legal, medical, financial, or other office management areas. Eligible seniors may also choose to work at an internship position through the Internship Program. Graduates of this program are ready for employment and/or post-secondary education. *Students who complete all three years of the program will receive credit at CCRI through our articulation agreement.
