Student Work in our Library

Transportation with Mrs. Kelly's Preschool PM Class in the Library

For this unit, Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Ward collaborated so the students could learn about things that GO! We read, "On the move" by Henry Pluckrose, and investigated "Toot and Puddle Tour the World", an online interactive website. In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday we read "And to Think I saw it all on Mulberry Street" and talked about different ways to move. The students brainstormed ways to get from one place to another and we recorded the respones on the Smart Board. The students then wrote and illlustrated two modes of transportation using Microsoft Power Point and Microsoft Paint. We also talked about animation with Power Point to help us illustrate the concept of moving. Enjoy!!

Our Green Eggs and Ham
K AM Mrs. Morris
Our class read "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Seuss, to celebrate Read Across America Day. We brainstormed things we could say like Dr. Seuss and did our own "I like to read...." with rhyming word pairs. Students typed on the computers using Microsoft Word and then illustrated their sentences using Microsoft Paint. The work was compiled in a Power point presentation. Please enjoy!
