Señora Gendreau

¡Hola amigos! My name is Señora Gendreau.  In the past I have taught elementary school, middle school and high school. I grew up in Rhode Island where I went to school and college. My undergraduate degree is from The University of Rhode Island. I also lived in Bolivia for 15 years. Can you find where that is on a map of South America? While living in Bolivia I got my Master’s Degree through Framingham State College. I have many friends who live all over the world, on 5 continents. We keep in touch through the internet. I have traveled to more than 30 countries.

I have two adult children, a son who teaches tennis and a daughter who is a pastor and community organizer in a Spanish speaking area of Massachusetts. I am married to a man who spoke French the first 5 years of his life!  I love to speak French also. I also enjoy biking, traveling and reading in my free time.

This is my sixth year teaching Spanish at Richmond Elementary School and I am very excited to see how much my students remember from last year and to create new lessons for you to learn more about the language and cultures that I love. ¡Hasta pronto!
