Library Media Center Hours

Monday 7:15 - 3:05 (If late bus is available)

Tuesday 7:15 - 3:05p.m. (If late bus is available)

Wednesday 7:15 - 2:15 afterschool by appt to work on research skills

Thursday 7:15 - 2:15 p.m.

Friday 7:15 - 2:15 p.m.

The library media center is open Monday and Tuesday after school 2:15 until 3:05 for students who are going to be working on school assignments. We are happy to help students with any research or information literacy skills. The library will also be open by appointment on Wednesday afternoon. Please email by noon on Tuesday to arrange an appointment to work on specific research needs on a Wednesday afternoon. Hours may change as necessary. Check with the Library Media Center when making plans to stay after school.  

Services

 

  • Instruction in information literacy.
  • Assistance locating, retrieving, interpreting and evaluating information.
  • Assistance with software applications: PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, FrontPage, Netscape Composer, Inspiration.
  • Access to an online card catalog, the Internet, online databases, software applications, books, and more.
  • Readers advisory, bookmarks, booklists, and booktalks.
  • Space for meeting, reading and studying.
  • Integrating technology into classroom projects and much, much more!

Policies

  • Students may borrow library materials for two weeks.
  • Faculty and staff may borrow library material for four weeks.
  • Students may have a maximum of three books checked out at the same time.
  • There are no fines for items that are returned late.
  • Students will be billed for items that are not returned in a timely manner. Billing costs reflect the purchase price of the item and processing costs.
  • Students will be refunded any funds collected for "lost" library materials that are found and returned within five weeks of payment.
