There are a number of magazines and websites that accept student work for publication. Remember to get your parents permission PRIOR to sending your submission!

Creative Kids
A publication for kids by kids! Publishes word puzzles and pictures as well as literature. You can receive a free trial issue.

Merlyn's Pen
Based right here in Providence, Rhode Island, this publication supports teens who take creative risks. From Merlyn's Pen website: "Teens who tell their own stories and create new ones stand out in a world that unfairly urges them to create less while consuming more."

New Moon
Publication for girls ages 8 - 14. Publishes fiction, poetry, artwork and letters. Contains award-winning articles about the lives of girls and women from around the globe.

Stone Soup Magazine
Appropriate for middle school students, ages 8 - 13.

Teen Ink
Sponsored by the Young Authors Foundation, this nonprofit organization is devoted entirely to teenage writing and art. Students can submit art, poems, stories and reviews of movies, books, colleges and websites.
