Due Date:
Friday, April 27, 2018

The Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation is a local non-profit organization established in the memory of Katie DeCubellis, a 13-year old Narragansett student killed by a drunk driver on October 29, 1999. The organization seeks to help others and to make our community a better place in which to live. Our Foundation has set out to educate people on the dangers of drunk driving and substance abuse.

The Foundation will provide a $1,500 scholarship to a Narragansett resident who will be matriculating in a technical school or two- to four-year college. This scholarship is renewable for four years provided the student meets the criteria listed on the Scholarship Application Form.

Each applicant should submit the enclosed Scholarship Application Form, a copy of their high school transcript and an essay explaining how their community is a better place because of the contributions they have made throughout their high school career.
