MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
of the qualified electors of the participating towns of Charlestown, Hopkinton and Richmond, joined together as the Chariho Regional School District.

To the respective Town Sergeants and Constables, or any of them in the Towns of Charlestown, Hopkinton and Richmond.
Greetings:
You are hereby required to call and warn all electors of the respective towns of Charlestown, Hopkinton and Richmond, who are voters qualified in their respective towns to vote at the financial town meeting next preceding this Chariho Regional School District meeting and also those voters who are certified by the Board of Canvassers in their respective Towns as qualified to vote in their respective towns on any proposition for the imposition of a tax or for the expenditure of money, to assemble in the Chariho Regional School District Meeting of the participating towns of Charlestown, Hopkinton and Richmond to be held at Chariho Regional Middle School Auditorium on Switch Road in the Town of Richmond on Tuesday, the sixth day of March A. D. 2018 at seven thirty Post Meridiem time (7:30 PM) pursuant to the provisions of an Act passed at the January session A. D. 2006 of the General Assembly of the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations entitled, "An Act in amendment of and in addition to Chapter 286 of the Public Laws, 1986, and Chapter 279 of the Public Laws, 1997, entitled 'An Act in Amendment of and in Addition to Chapter 55 of the Public Laws, 1958, Entitled ‘An Act Authorizing the Towns of Charlestown and Richmond together, or together with the Town of Hopkinton, to join in a Regional High School District, Incorporating said Regional High School District and Providing for the Issuance of Bonds, Construction and Operation of a Regional High School for the Joint Use of the Participating Towns, within said Regional High School District established by this Act as amended'", for the purpose of considering and acting upon the following propositions:
I. To participate in a public hearing before the Chariho Regional School District Committee concerning its proposed school budget for the 2018-2019 budget year.
II. To transact any and all other business that may be lawful at said meeting.
By authorization and directions of Said Act hereinbefore quoted. Witness the hands of the Clerk of the Chariho Regional School District and Chairperson of the Chariho Regional School District Committee affixed hereto this 13th day of February, 2018.

NOTICE OF POSSIBLE CONTINUATION OF ANNUAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING
To the qualified electors of the towns of Charlestown, Richmond and Hopkinton:
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Annual Meeting and Public Hearing of the Chariho Regional School District, scheduled to be held by the Chariho Regional School District Committee on March 6, 2018, concerning its proposed School Budget for the 2018-2019 budget year and transaction of any and all other business that may be lawful at said meeting will be continued if there is a lack of a quorum of qualified voters and will reconvene on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, in the Chariho Middle School Auditorium at 7:30 PM. If there is a quorum present on March 6, 2018, the meeting will not be continued
